A dominant blend of Merlot sourced from the surrounding area, including Villa d'Est's own vineyards. In terms of vinification, modern expertise is combined with traditional handmade methods to accentuate the individuality of the grapes and reflect the terroir.
The grapes are meticulously cultivated and then released after undergoing fermentation and aging in barrels. This results in a well-balanced taste that perfectly harmonizes fresh fruit with rich acidity, complemented by the refreshing aroma of spices and herbs. With an annual production of just under 2,200 bottles, it is a highly sought-after rarity.
「ヴィニュロンズリザーブ メルロー」は、長野県東御市自社畑産ブドウの中でも、最高品質のブドウを厳選して使用しています。約3日間の低温浸漬の後、約2週間の「かもし発酵」をおこないます。プレス後はフレンチオーク樽で約18か月熟成。本格的なフルボディの味わいに加え、エレガントな果実味にスパイス様の香りが溶け込み、柔らかさと深みを併せ持つ赤ワインです。
