たった14gという種米から復活栽培に成功した、幻の酒造好適米「短桿渡船」。「渡舟」の最高峰に位置する純米大吟醸です。杜氏泣かせの難しい米、短稈渡船を35%まで磨き上げ、低温でゆっくり丁寧に醸し上げた逸品です。「渡舟」の特長である青リンゴを思わせるフレッシュな吟醸香に、綺麗ではありながら味幅のしっかりした立体感のある旨味を感じられます。ジューシーな米の味わいがダイレクトに舌へ届き、非常にキレのあるクリアな後味で締めくくられます。
